2nd January 2005 Windsurfing: Llantwit Major Wind Direction: westly Wind Stength: 20mph Surf / Sea State: 4ft waves Air Temperature: cold Sea Temperature: cold Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Always said Llantwit was for real hot shots or dumb wits , let you all decide which cat im,in . Anyway the crew wanted to sail here today much to my dismay , never sailed here before but against my better judgement gave it a go . Waves here are great as good as you,ll get this way easy to get on and ride , but the launch/recovery area is a mine feild of big rocks /deep ledges , bacically looks like a flooded rock excavation , came away with no damage but this place if you get it wrong can be a real wrecker . Gretrex,Clive,Dan,Gethin,Ryan where out with me , and both twins turned up a little later . Got away with it today but dont think i,ll risk it again unless i see a cheap plastic pig tiga or something to sail here. |
